My role focused on defining the visual foundation and building flexible, reusable components that could scale across multiple platforms while maintaining consistency, accessibility, and brand integrity.
Each element of the system was designed to streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and ensure a consistent user experience across all product touchpoints.
CHALLENGEAs digital products evolve, maintaining consistency across multiple teams, platforms, and features becomes increasingly complex. Without a unified system, design and development efforts can become fragmented, leading to inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and slower iteration cycles.
The challenge was to create a design system that balanced structure with flexibility—providing clear standards while allowing teams to move quickly and adapt to new product needs.
SOLUTIONI designed and implemented the SWAV Design System as a modular, scalable framework that brings together UI components, design tokens, and usage guidelines into a cohesive ecosystem. The system includes standardized typography, color systems, spacing, and interactive components, all documented for clarity and ease of use.
By prioritizing usability, consistency, and scalability, the system enables teams to design and build more efficiently while maintaining a unified visual language. The result is a robust foundation that supports rapid product development, improves cross-functional collaboration, and ensures a seamless user experience across platforms.
